Baseline Corporation, Professional Surveyors, is a full service
land surveying and mapping firm located at 1702 Seamist Drive,
Suite 320, Houston, Texas 77008. link?? The firm was organized
in 1976 to serve a variety of public and private sector clients
in the Houston and surrounding county areas. For over 25 years
Baseline Corporation has remained a leader in utilizing cutting
edge value added technologies through constant innovation. Our
professional staff is trained in the latest technologies such
as laser reflectorless total station and data collectors, dual-phase
Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) G.P.S., and electronic digital levels.
Project data is captured in the timeliest most cost effective
way and processed in the office using automated computer systems
with drafting performed by our large format color plotters. We
utilize the latest versions of microstation and AutoCAD combined
with a number of survey and engineering design software to produce
digital graphics files that can be supplied on diskette, CD-ROM,
or via e-mail over the World Wide Web.
COMPANY EXPERIENCE
Baseline Corporation has provided boundary surveying for several
thousand areas of land in the Houston and surrounding areas, in
particular, a 2000-acre tract in Fort Bend County near Sugarland,
Texas. This acreage was in turn divided into several Municipal
Utility Districts (MUD) with several sections of subdivisions
in each. We have mapped more than 40 square blocks of the downtown
Central Business District (CBD) the Metropolitan Transit Authority
(Metro). We also have prepared right-of-way mapping surveys and
surveys in support of engineering design for the Texas Department
of Transportation (TxDOT) under direct contract and through sub-contract
to consulting engineering firms. We have performed similar services
for Harris County Flood Control, Harris County Public Infrastructure
Department and the City of Houston. We have performed surveying
for the Harris County Toll Road Authority and the Coastal Water
Authority (CWA) under sub-contract to a consulting engineering
firm. Baseline Corporation has a depth and breath of experience
in almost all types of surveys. The core of our staff has been
together between 10 and 20 years. This continuity and continued
growth, along with constant innovation, have provided us the ability
to supply a value added product.
