Baseline Instrumental in Flood Mitigation Project

Through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD), Baseline Corporation, a subsidiary of Binkley & Barfield, Inc., is helping to mitigate future flooding problems in Harris County. Baseline was contracted for their professional surveying services on this hydraulic modeling and flood hazard re-mapping project, Baseline surveyed almost 200 cross sections on approximately 40 miles of Cedar Bayou in eastern Harris County.

This project, FEMA's largest flood hazard mitigation project to date, required adherence to strict protocols and schedules.
